About Mark Middleton

I’m Mark Middleton — a technologist and team leader based in Portland, Oregon. Over the last two decades I’ve worn a lot of hats: Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, Technical Director, developer, voiceover artist, podcaster, entrepreneur, and — whenever I can — traveler.

My work sits where technology meets communication. I’ve built and led the systems behind brands like Nike, Mentor Graphics, Sony BMG, Capitol Records, and MTV, and today I focus on Craft CMS development, SEO, and AI — helping teams ship things that are fast, findable, and genuinely useful.

What ties it all together is people. I like leading teams, mentoring, and turning a messy problem into something clean and calm. When I’m not at a keyboard you’ll usually find me traveling, behind a microphone, or at home in Portland with my partner Nico and our pug, Isabelle.
